Community Sailing Center Celebrates Successful Season

Burlington, VT – The Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center’s end of season fundraiser, Making Waves: A Sunset Cruise brought supporters and users of the center together on the Spirit of Ethan Allen to celebrate the most successful season in the history of the organization.

The evening included dinner, cash bar, silent auction, and the premier showing “A Day in the Life”, a Community Sailing Center short film.

The Community Sailing Center presented Community Partnership Awards to The DREAM Program, Hazelett Marine, LaVilla Bistro, The Skinny Pancake, and Lake Champlain Transportation and a special 10-year partnership award to Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sport.

The Community Sailing Center is an award winning, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. CSC has provided educational and recreational sailing programs to those who wish to gain access to Lake Champlain and learn to sail; regardless of age, physical ability or financial concerns for over 14 years.
