Community Sailing Center Springs into Action with Volunteer Days.

Burlington, VT – Community Sailing Center is celebrating the 15th Anniversary this season. To help prepare for the facility and yard for the upcoming programs and events the Community Sailing Center has be hosting Spring Volunteer Days for the past few weekends. This Saturday will be the biggest volunteer day of the season. Community members will be able give back to their communities by volunteering for a variety of service projects.

“The Community Sailing Center Volunteer Day is a great way to celebrate our love for the lake” Kate Neubauer said. “There is simply no better way to give back to our community than by taking a day to participate in a volunteer activity.”

In addition to the help of volunteers, the Community Sailing Center has the support of local businesses: Pricechopper, Hannafords, Big Daddy’s Pizza, Three Tomatoes, and Leonardo’s Pizza, that will donate food in order to sustain the hard-working volunteers.

The Community Sailing Center is an award winning, 501(c)(3) organization that encourages and celebrates the responsible use and long term stewardship of Lake Champlain by fostering educational and recreational opportunities for all members of our community.
