Corporate Outings

Your group will experience the thrills of sailing and enjoy the benefit of being educated by certified instructors aboard our sailboats, learning not only a new set of skills but will also new ways to work together to accomplish a common goal.  Program options are also available for paddle sports, offering an opportunity to explore the waterfront from one of our canoes, kayaks, or stand-up paddleboards.

Sailing Programs

Instructional Sailing
This three hour course introduces participants to sailing and the lake. Our certified instructors will explain and demonstrate the theory of wind power on sails and give the students an opportunity to experience keelboat sailing for themselves.

Recreational Sailing
This three hour course allows participants to relax and set sail around the lake. Limited sailing instruction will be given, emphasis will be on exploring the beauty of the lake and its environment.

Full Day Instructional Sailing
This is a 6 hour course which can either be run on the same day, morning and afternoon or over two days. In addition to the instructional sailing course, students will learn basic boating safety, seamanship and how to tie knots.

Beginning Sailing Course
A 15 hour program conducted over a flexible set of dates. This program follows the US Sailing Curriculum. Content includes sailing theory, how to tie knots, seamanship, and a basic understanding of weather and currents.

Guided Paddling Programs

Enjoy the sights of Burlington Bay while paddling around in a canoe, kayak, or on a Stand-Up Paddleboard. Guided tours will go out for a minimum of two hours.
