Learn to sail one-on-one or explore your new boat with a certified instructor on board. Lessons can be taught in either a student’s own boat or in one from the Community Sailing Center’s rental fleet. Private lessons are a great way to try out the sport in a supportive environment or to focus in on developing a particular skill. Reservations must be made and paid in full at least 48 hours in advance.

Each Additional person $25/hour
Each family’s experience will be unique. We will identify each family’s goals and needs and plan accordingly. Each course can cover all aspects of basic sailing and safety that is taught in one of our adult courses. All classes have one goal: you will come together to learn how to sail as a family. Families will learn to sail in Sonars or Rhodes 19s.
Fee: $35 per family member/hour, 3 person minimum group size
