Lakeside Events at the Community Sailing Center

In 2017, powered by the Love Your Lake Capital Campaign, the Community Sailing Center completed construction of the first new building on the Burlington Waterfront in over 20 years. For 23 years, the CSC operated from the abandoned Moran Plant, a Public Works garage, a tent, and two port-a-potties. The Pomerleau Community Waterfront Campus & Raymond P. Sullivan Sailing Education Center brings a whole host of firsts for the CSC – first indoor plumbing, first year-round classrooms, and most importantly – the first time in decades that we have the space and resources to expand lake-based opportunities for our community for generations to come.

This beautiful waterfront facility is available to our community to rent for gatherings and events. Celebrate your special occasion in this purpose-built, zero-energy building and support our mission to provide lake access, recreation, and education for all!
