You make these programs possible.
When you make a donation to the Lake Champlain Community Sailing Center, you empower us to protect Lake Champlain, provide scholarships, bring our community together on the water, and grow well into the future as your place to access and enjoy the lake. Your gift puts more of your neighbors in touch with a healthy lake, so they’ll have the chance to experience all the reasons why so many people love the Community Sailing Center so much.

Special funds
Annual Fund
Donations to the Community Sailing Center Annual fund give us the flexibility to allocate resources where they’re most needed to help us deliver high quality, accessible, and affordable programming that offers adventure and sparks learning. Programs supported by the Annual Fund include Floating Classrooms, Women in Wind, and LeaderShip.
McConnell Scholarship Fund
Mike McConnell’s love for the lake inspired the scholarship fund in his name to support access to Lake Champlain for anyone in our community regardless of age, ability, race, religion, or economic circumstances. This fund is our primary source of scholarship dollars and the mechanism of support for our Diversity Access Initiative.
Derek Schueler Fund
Derek Schueler was a son, brother, grandson, nephew, scholar and friend who inspired happiness, hope and love through his extraordinary eyes and genuine smile. One of Derek’s gifts was that he could embrace others’ passions as his own unconditionally and without judgment. Derek loved spending his time on Lake Champlain with family and friends and we all hope, along with any who have had the pleasure of meeting Derek, that his legacy inspires others to seek the breath-taking beauty of Lake Champlain through this special fund to support our Adaptive Watersports programs.
