Sailing: UVM Sailing Team
We’re the UVM Catamounts’ home “turf.”
As one of the most popular and competitive club sports teams at the University of Vermont, the UVM Sailing Team has been based out of the CSC for over 25 years. The team attends on average 2-4 regattas per weekend during the fall and spring seasons. While most of these regattas specialize in fleet and team racing in double-handed dinghies, some include single-handed and keelboat racing competitions.
The Catamounts compete in the highly competitive New England Intercollegiate Sailing Association (NEISA).
The team’s roster ranges from 40 to 65 athletes between the Open, Women, and Keelboat teams.
