Programs & Priorities: Youth LeaderShip
Chart a course toward leadership and life skills.
LeaderShip provides youth with healthy challenges that help define their voice and develop skills critical to a lifetime of success through a curriculum that includes experiential learning, mentoring, collaboration, and goal setting. LeaderShip is specifically designed for nonprofit groups looking for a more tailored sailing experience, school groups that do not align within the Floating Classrooms framework, or any youth groups looking to have the opportunity to experience Lake Champlain.
The LeaderShip program brings a crew of young sailors or paddlers together to overcome challenges and learn about themselves and each other. Each participant will learn sailing or paddling skills while sharpening their communication and collaboration skills.
