We offer private instruction with certified instructors for people of all skill levels. Private lessons provide a one-on-one experience as a refresher, confidence builder or introduction to the sport of sailing.
Private Lessons
Learn to sail one-on-one with a certified instructor on board. Students learn aboard a boat from our fleet, including Lasers, 420s, Quests, Sonars, & Rhodes 19s. Available for ages 6 & up.

Family Lessons
Each family’s experience will be unique, tailored to your specific goals for the day. Your course can cover all aspects of instruction included in one of our adult courses, or simply focus on the experience of sailing the lake together. Families will learn to sail aboard one of our keelboats. Ages 6 & up.
Fee: $140/ hour for 3 people | $160/hour for 4 people | $180/hour for 5 people
Private Lesson Request Process
- Register for the Private Lesson Request Form linked here. It is a $0 (no cost) item to collect information.
- At checkout you will be promoted to answer questions about the type of private lesson you are looking for.
- CSC Staff will reach out to schedule your private lesson based on availability.
- You will need to pay to confirm the lesson.
Private Lessons run only during CSC operating hours. We recommend reaching out at least 2 weeks in advance to schedule your lesson.
