The Community Sailing Center is home to sail and human-powered boats of all kinds and sizes. We are especially well suited to house your kayaks, canoes, rowing dinghies Lasers, Sunfish, and boats 12-24′ on trailers. Currently, we are only able to offer Winter storage. We are pleased to offer both outdoor and heated indoor storage in the winter!
For our indoor winter storage you drop off your boat with us and we store it for you. This offers an enclosed climate controlled environment maintained at 50-70 degrees. No need to winterize or cover your boat! Please see our Frequently Asked Questions for the winter storage season to see which option is right for you.
Summer Boat Storage
Beginning summer 2020, we unfortunately will no longer be able to offer summer boat storage. Due to new space restrictions and the changes set to happen with the Moran plant, our boat yard space is now limited. We may have the possibility of some limited rack storage for paddle craft later in the summer, but we will not know if this is confirmed until restrictions due to Covid-19 change, and we can reassess our own internal operations moving forward.
Boat Hoist Use
We anticipate hoist use for the summer of 2020. Dates to begin use are subject to current restrictions due to Covid-19.
Hoist users must provide their own boat lifting equipment and must call ahead to ensure hoist availability and access. You may pay for one-time use, or unlimited hoist usage for the season.
- One-time hoist use – $4/ft
- Season hoist use – $8/ft
For hoist use and questions regarding our storage program please email John Nagle or call the Sailing Center at 802-864-2499.
Winter Boat Storage
The CSC will be able to offer our full Winter Storage, both Indoor and Outdoor, beginning in November 2020.
