Floating Classrooms
invites local school groups to experience hands-on scientific learning on the lake through sailing and on-shore lessons.

LeaderShip provides youth the opportunity to grow through the challenges of sailing and paddling and effective communication between peers in a structured outdoor environment.

Adaptive Watersports offers sailing and paddling opportunities for people with cognitive and physical disabilities using intentional teaching methods and equipment.

CSC Initiatives

The Sailing Diversity Access Initiative is in it’s third year, and creates new summer and recreation opportunities for kids and adults from diverse backgrounds. This initiative is a part of our extensive efforts to address diversity, equity and inclusion at our organization.

The WAVES Initiative makes lake ecology and stewardship an important part of every recreation and education program offered at the CSC.

Women in Wind provides a safe yet dynamic space for Vermont women and girls to cultivate their leadership and communication skills through the transformative experience of sailing and paddling.
