In order to achieve our goals, we must depend on individual support, corporate donations, and public and private grants to help maintain our youth programs, growing fleet, and safe operating facilities.

LeaderSHIP Program
In partnership with local non-profit organizations this program provides opportunity for youth from different cultures and backgrounds work together, learning tolerance, trust and respect for one another while learning how to sail.
Adaptive Watersports Program
The Community Sailing Center provides the opportunity for non-exclusive, water-based recreation for people with disabilities. The AWP’s mission is to provide watersports for everyone, regardless of disability, age and ability to pay.
Youth Environmental Stewardship Program
In partnership with local non-profit organizations this program provides a type of hands-on learning and on-the-water activity that will engage and empower youth to become future stewards of Lake Champlain, improving its water quality by changing perceptions and behavior.
McConnell Scholarship Fund
This fund established in Mike McConnell’s honor is intended for any youth or adult sailor whose family is in need of assistance.
Jim Finch Memorial Fund
This fund established in the honor of Jim Finch is intended for ongoing boat maintenance as well as the purchase of new boats in order to keep Jim’s passion for accessible and community-based sailing alive.

Boat and Equipment Donations
Community Sailing Center accepts donations of boats (including sailboats, power boats, kayaks and windsurfers) and equipment to benefit our programs. For more information about donating boats to CSC please contact Colin Davis, Facilities Director.
